This applicator was developed by Dr. Lyapko N. G. (a reflexologist), is intended for a wide array of medical treatments as well as a prophylactic measure to strengthen and maintain a high level of health. In general, its function is to increase a person's capacity to work and performance ability, improve general outlook on life, normalize the sleep cycle, improve attitude and stabilize metabolism. The applicator also has beneficial effects on specific health conditions. The applicator consists of needles attached to an elastic rubber band. The needles are constructed out of metals that are beneficial for the human body: zinc, brass, iron, nickel and silver. Medical benefits are achieved as a result of galvanized currents created in the skin, in-between and on the tops of needles, which in turn increases microelectrophoresis of natural metals in the body. A distinctive feature of the "Rug" applicator is its large surface area and a greater distance between needles. The applicator is recommended for use on the back and as a rug under the feet (in standing, sitting, or reclining positions). It is convenient for lying on with the abdomen and, in that position, can be beneficial as a prophylactic measure or as part of a complex multidisciplinary treatment of digestive conditions (colitis, dyskinesia, constipation, etc.). It can also be used as part of the treatment for obesity (for fatty deposits collected in the abdomen). For increased effect, hold the applicator with the soles of your feet (digging your feet in) while holding it to the foot of the bed. You can also just stand on it.
