Customer Comments: The design is very sleek and low-profile. The top is glass and is seamless, which makes it very easy to keep clean. I was a bit worried about the possibility of slipping, since I usually weigh myself right after a shower and my feet can be wet. However, this felt very secure underfoot even with wet feet due to the platform size - it's roughly 12 inches by 12 inches, so there's lots of room to plant yourself securely. Plus, it's so low to the ground that there is virtually no step-up distance. The feet under the scale are large and covered with a non-slip material. This also adds to the stability when on the scale - even standing on one foot I could not get the scale to tip or wobble whatsoever. Operation is simple: step on the scale. No need to turn it on or wait for it to reset. Just step and go. The display is an LCD that is not backlit, but I still found it easy to read since the numbers are large (1.5 inches tall).
