Instead of being sundried after harvest, the fresh roots are immediately cleaned, ground into a pulp and low temperature dried to produce a powder, which is vacuum sealed in foil bags. This careful and quick handling prserves more vital nutrients of the Maca roots and makes for a more potent product. Our Premium Maca powder contains a combination of about 30% Red, 40% Cream and 30% Black Maca roots. Given the special handling and combination of Maca colors, Premium Maca Powder is in our opinion the best all-purpose Maca for both Men and Women. Our Premium Maca is 100% Raw, Vegan, Fair Trade and Certified Organic.

Due to much of the 2014 harvest of Maca being smuggled out of Peru we raised prices for the first time in 4 years. Currently we can still source high quality organic Maca from our farms in Peru, but the market remains unstable. Red and Black Maca have been the most affected.
