This diffuser uses water mixed with your favorite essential oil to freshen the air. You fill the diffuser with about half a cup of room temperature water, drop 2-3 drops of your favorite essential oil and turn it on. An ultrasonic element at the bottom atomizes the water and the oil to diffuse the aroma. A half cup of water runs about 3 hours or 7 hours in the 30 seconds on/off mode.
